( This goes beyond people. Blue cares deeply about the environmental state of the world as well as animals. While it doesn't pay much, Blue has a job in canon as a dog walker and is called a 'friend to all dogs'. She's also an extremely concerned with taking care of the planet and keeping the earth in good shape for as long as possible -- she's that person reminding you to recycle. )

( Blue is a bit of an old soul. She doesn't have very many -- if any -- deep friendships in her high school because she doesn't connect with most people who are her age. She also often feels as though she is older than she actually is. )

( For as sensible and mature as Blue is, she is not without fault. Blue has quite a sharp tongue and a rather short temper. ( Like any fresh 18 year old, Blue can be more than a little bull-headed at times. She doesn't like being told what to do and very rarely goes along with it when someone tries. ( Blue has far too much pride for her own good. In canon she refuses to allow any of the Raven Boys to ever pay for anything for her, while on the flipside she is very concerned with the rest of her school finding out that she's hanging around with them. Blue may not admit it, but her image and how others perceive her is very important to her. )

When the video starts it's pointed directly at the floor between a pair of black boots, the apparent owner of said boots groaning in obvious frustration at something off-screen. (In reality, she's groaning at the device currently recording her.) There are the muffled sounds of her fingers pressing against the screen and eventually Blue manages to get the camera flipped around and facing her -- a teenage girl with a perpetually messy hairstyle and clothing that looked to be different pieces of someone else's wardrobe sewn together.
But, she doesn't seem to realize it's recording anything yet. Her brows knit together in frustration as she continues to toy with the phone. It's becoming increasingly obvious that she's not at all familiar with how a smartphone works.
(Embarrassingly so for the average teenager from her world.) ]
It said all I had to do was this and it should record video [ Blue tilts her head to the side curiously, rotating the phone so that she's upside down. ] What's going on? Maybe I have to press it twi--
